Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel’s hit show Dirty Jobs accepted my employer’s invitation to join us in Las Vegas and participate in what we affectionately called our dirtiest job of the year, the ConExpo trade show. For three days, March 11 through 13, Mike helped us create a unique experience for our customers by sharing humorous tales from his Dirty Jobs experience. He signed autographs talked with his many fans and shared his ready wit and warmth with everyone. Something like 144,000 people attended ConExpo. Measured by the volumes of people streaming through our booth, I believe that everyone attending the show was a Mike Rowe fan.

(L to R): Kevin (emcee and brand chief), Colleen (trade show manager), Mike (regular guy), Debbie (marketing director)

The tech crew and team that supported Mike's appearance at the show.
ConExpo facts: People came from 130 countries to the sprawling indoor and outdoor exhibit space of the Las Vegas Convention Center. There were 2,000 exhibitors covering 2.2 million square feet of space. Roughly 18 billion tons of equipment and construction related hardware was on view.

Thanks for a great time, Mike. Best wishes for continued success.

I think he is she hottest guy around. Hotter than my husband.
Dude, I love that guy.
I wish I could have met him.
Hi Phil,
It was a pleasure meeting you at ConExpo. As a non-member of the construction industry but a Mike Rowe and Dirty Jobs fan, you greeted me and made me feel welcome each day I attended Mike’s presentations. Thank you so much for the kindness in allowing so many fans the opportunity to meet Mike and have a photo taken with him even after the long line for autographs was closed. Many fans will have special memories.
