My Tempachair just arrived. And I have to say that I’m very impressed. The box is double corrugated to protect the contents which are wrapped in a large bubble wrap bag. Quality. I was tremendously impressed to pull the chair out of the bag, set it up and sit on it. It is an exceptionally high quality chair. Everything about it is carefully crafted and thought through for comfort and convenience.

The battery for my new Tempachair charged FAST! The LED indicator light displayed green in no time. When I plugged the battery into the chair and sat on it, I felt heat coming from the pad in just a matter of seconds. Very impressive. I also noticed that this chair is just plain nice to sit on. It’s a little taller, wider, and deeper than the average folding chair of this type (see my photo above). The padding on the seat and back along with the fact that they are connected, delivers real comfort.

Later, my brother was visiting and I showed him the chair. He has a similar chair (it doesn’t have heat) with a snack tray and cup holder. His first reaction was to notice that the Tempachair fittings, hinges, fabrics and finishes are all more robust than his chair. We both believe there isn’t a better built chair to compete with the Tempachair. Then I showed him how to turn on the heat and seconds later he could feel the high heat radiating across the pad of the chair. Very cool.

The Tempachair is sturdy and strong, not like those flimsy folding chairs from discount stores. Every detail says quality, from the velcro pouch for the battery to the beautifully embroidered logo on the back of the chair and the thick padding on the arm rests.I believe this chair is going to last. And it has storage pockets for a water bottle, magazines and other stuff, plus a sturdy snack tray with a cup holder. I’m in love.

Did you notice that it even comes with a car adaptor to recharge the battery? You can take the Tempachair anywhere you need it. Use it for four hours, then recharge it in an hour to use it again for another four hours. It’s the perfect chair when you have to be outside somewhere in the cold. I work in film and video production, which means I am routinely filming on location in all kinds of weather. This chair is going with me on all location shoots from now on. Everybody from soccer moms to film crews need the Tempachair. I recommend it.
