New Year’s resolutions with punch. My friend Randy Hilfman (a featured extra in Project London, The King of Ping, and “Randy, Randy, Randy” fame) proposed these resolutions at our 2007 New Year’s Eve party. There’s no doubt in my mind that Randy will achieve these epic goals and soon. You only need to taste one of his amazing deviled eggs to understand how he will do it. Randy’s eggs have always been a popular staple at our annual party, but this year he took them to a fantastic new place with the addition of pesto and shrimp. See the photo which just doesn’t do them justice; sorry.

Fame. Glory. World domination. Yup. Them eggs are that good.

Not pictured above are yours truly and Terri, a friend and colleague of Marks’. Terri brought a dip made from a secret family recipe that could easily compete with Randy’s eggs for significant fame and glory. Hey Julie, thanks for the scorpa! Someday you must revisit the idea of taking your scorpa to the masses. There is ample fame and glory for such an endeavor, just maybe not enough room to dominate the world if Randy gets there first.

I love the photo of Randy in character during the Project London shoot. Can’t you just see the determination and will to achieve world domination in his eyes?

In addition to all the party fun listed above, we ran a number of concert DVDs in the background. One was a hit with Wendy and she asked me to post the title, “James Taylor Live at the Beacon Theatre”, so she could reference it and track it down. Here you go Wendy. Cheers!
