Today I had the pleasure of meeting Wil Wheaton. Most of you know Wil’s work on Star Trek: The Next Generation and his role in the Rob Reiner film, Stand By Me. I admit here and now to pretty much always loving Star Trek. In particular the original series and The Next Generation. Wil was a particular favorite on ST:TNG and he was exceptional in Stand By Me, one of my all time top ten favorite films. If you haven’t seen this film, I want you to add it to your list and watch it this coming weekend. There is a campfire scene in the film that pretty much captures the important parts of friendship, art and life. If you haven’t had some cherry flavored Pez in awhile, you better go get some of that, too.

Wil was gracious and generous with his time, giving me an autograph and a photo. We had a brief moment to talk about Project London and when we parted, he wished all of us working on the film much success. Very cool.

I met Wil at the Emerald City Comicon. My brother Nate, son Kevin, and business partner Ian Hubert attended the convention with me to look at it as a venue for marketing Project London. We think it has real potential.
